Vanis Salon in Crown Point was named the Number Three Salon in the nation by Salon Today magazine. DO worked with Owner Chris Valavanis to add the Crown Point salon location to complement his salons already in operation in Valparaiso and Schererville, Indiana.

The newest Vanis is an eight-chair hair salon located in the center of historic downtown Crown Point, Indiana.The interior embraces the customer in a natural palette of color and finishes with accents that include a glass tile wall behind a bamboo and black stone garden highlighted by subtle lighting. The shampoo and drying area of the salon is visually separated from the other functions by a metal bead screen suspended from the ceiling, eliminating the need for view obstructing walls. The artful combination of natural elements, high-tech metal surfaces and lighting has created a serene setting for visitors and staff.
