HOSPITAL FINISH STANDARDS |
Design Organization was instrumental in developing hospital finish standards which were incorporated into the new Walter Payton Liver Center. The design team, worked closely with Hospital administration to select all new finishes, including patient room head wall millwork, lighting, ceilings, wall treatment, floor treatment, etcetera for the renovation. The finishes were developed for all patient floors and rooms. The goal was to be able to blend the new finishes with the existing but newly renovated areas, so as not to make those areas obsolete, while developing a new look that would be worthy of the namesake of the new Liver Center. All materials used have now been incorporated in the hospitals overall finish standards, developed as the back bone for the up and coming Hospital Master Plan Renovation.
