WHITE LODGING HANGAR
READY FOR TAKEOFF |
When White Lodging Services decided to create a home for its corporate jet fleet, it chose a location at Gary-Chicago International Airport because of its proximity to corporate headquarters and convenience of airport access. DO had worked with White Lodging Services in 2006 on the renovation of five Fairfield Inns. After the successful completion of those projects, White turned to DO again, this time for the design a 20,000 square foot hangar and maintenance center for its fleet. The new facility includes corporate offices and support space for pilots as well as conferencing facilities for visiting clients. Construction of the new corporate hangar, the first constructed at the Gary-Chicago International Airport in several years, was completed in the Spring of 2007.
