Mr. Davis is an award-winning interior designer with over twenty years of professional experience. His career began in Chicago with a focus on corporate interior design. After 5 years in Chicago, Michael returned to his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, where he continued his design career, serving as lead designer and design director for several interior/ architectural firms. During that time, Michael expanded his design experience to include retail, restaurant, residential and museum exhibits. Michael’s professional practice approach is to provide functional planning and creative solutions that express the culture of the organization through a rational design process.

Michael attended Ball State University attaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior/Environmental Design. He has lectured and been an invited design critic at Indiana University, Purdue University and IUPUI. Michael has also facilitated a seminar on effective boardroom design for corporate facilities managers and served on the Indiana University Interior Design Advisory Council. He volunteers his time at Coburn Place, a safe haven for women and children in crisis situations.
