Principal

Andy joined DO in 1988 and became an Associate Principal of the firm in 2000. Andy manages DO Information Technology, providing staff with the systems and tools to improve work processes and stay ahead of the technology curve. Andy’s principal interest is focused on health care. His personality allows him to bring together and build consensus around expectations of diverse stakeholders (physicians, administration, nursing, technical staff, facilities, equipment vendors and regulatory agencies). He enjoys the combination of high tech and high touch that healthcare design requires to create healing places and never loses sight of the patient.

Process Driven, he is a known entity at the Indiana State Department of Health as well as local health departments. He previews projects with them early in design before required submittals to include their regulatory input and buy-in as well as minimize future changes.
