ANDREW E. MOATS, AIA
Associate Principal
Mr. Moats joined DO in 1988. He received his arch-itectural registration in Indiana in 1991. In 2000 he became an Associate Principal of the firm. He worked with Drummey, Rosane and Anderson (Boston, Massachusetts) and Curtis and Rasmussen (Akron, Ohio).
Mr. Moats specializes in healthcare projects and has excellent capabilities in healthcare planning and design. He has the ability to work well with healthcare staff and incorporate detailed needs into overall project goals. Andrew combines this skill with technical capabilities, and code and process knowledge, making him effective in working with state and local Health and Building Departments.
Mr. Moats has managed the information technology for Design Organization since the early 1990s, providing staff with the tools and methods with which to integrate design, documentation and project management systems.
Mr. Moats is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He continues his education process through the many seminars offered in the Healthcare industry, primarily through the Academy of Architecture for Health American Institute of Architects.
