Michael Davis

Associate

Michael began his career in Chicago, worked in Indianapolis, then returned to Chicago to join DO as Director of Interiors in 2002. He became an Associate in 2009. He is an exceptional designer. Many of the projects that he has been involved in have been recognized with top design awards and included in respected design publications. He has a broad range of experience in workplace, higher education, hospitality, retail and exhibit design. His special strengths include creative problem solving and the ability to translate the client’s goals into physical form. He understands the client’s needs, simplifies the problem, explains in layman’s terms the issues involved and then builds consensus among the stakeholders.

Michael participates in The 1% Program of Public Architecture which connects nonprofit organizations in need of design assistance with architecture and design firms willing to donate their time on a pro bono basis.
