In 1992 the E-911 User Board determined that the three primary dispatch centers in Porter County required renovation before new equipment could be installed. All three centers would be utilizing new state-of-the-art E-911 technology and consoles. The centers needed to accommodate present and future equipment and technology changes as well as improved uninterrupted power supply and facility security.
User comfort is very important in the day to day operations of these facilities. Indirect lighting provides overall ambient lighting, minimizing glare, illumination hot spots, and user fatigue. |
