CHARLES PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY St. Charles, Illinois Phase 1 of the major renovation and addition to the St. Charles Public Works facility was completed in September 2006. Design Organization, City of St. Charles staff and Berglund Construction worked as a team for eighteen months to bring the construction of the first phase to a successful completion. The 62,500 square foot addition will provide much needed space for administration, inventory control, and fleet maintenance to accommodate growth for services to the City of St. Charles.
