VALPARAISO UNIVERSITY KADE-DUESENBERG GERMAN HOUSE AND CULTURAL CENTER
Valparaiso, Indiana
The Kade-Duesenberg German House and Cultural Center strives to create an environment that stimulates cultural exchange and understanding of German heritage and language for Valparaiso University students, scholars and the community. Design inspiration came from the Bauhaus Movement of 1919 to 1933, due to the continuity and similarities of the Bauhaus concepts with the existing campus community and architecture, as well as its German origin and tremendous cross-cultural contribution.
