DO is collaborating with the Boston architectural firm Sasaki Associates to bring to fruition an environment that "is a dynamic, innovative, inclusive, and inviting gathering place for students, faculty and staff, the extended University family and guests." The Union will include a ballroom and conference center, cyber cafe, computer lab, lounges, book center, convenience store, student mail center, entertainment areas, student government, international and multicultural departments, career center, administrative and support offices, and a consolidated student dining facility.
