As part of their western suburban strategy, BP wanted to consolidate the remaining staff located at the AON building in Chicago into the Cantera Complex in Warrenville. The design chosen reflects BP brand values (progressive, performance, innovative and green) and expresses a work environment maximizing collaborative areas and connectivity throughout. To reinforce BP’s green/sustainable value, the project was designed to meet USGBC LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) criteria, and was accepted as a pilot building for the New Commercial Interiors program. It is now LEED certified.
