DO worked closely with Landor Associates, Corporate Brand Consultant, to first understand Innovene brand values so the workplace would be designed to reflect and reinforce corporate cultural goals and brand identity.
“Forward Thinking. Innovative Approach. Challenging Orthodoxy.” are Innovene's guiding principles. A major component in developing this sense of breaking away was the creation of a 7-1/2 degree angled cross-axis through the space terminating at the focal point, a two-level branded glass column in the connecting monumental staircase. The workplace design reflects a flat organizational structure based on function, flexibility for change, collaboration and right-to-light principle for each individual. Sustainable elements in the design included recycled rubber flooring, low VOC paints, non-urea formaldehyde millwork and EGC Certified wood.
